HER Art: Web3 Collectors Salon

On May 16th, 2023 the HER Art: Web3 Collectors Salon #2 took place during Frieze NYC, showcasing the remarkable achievements of women-identifying creative talents who are making a significant impact in the digital realm. The event was organized by CADAF in collaboration with Artnet, Artwrld, and Portraits of Womxn in Web3, and was powered and hosted by SUBJECTIVE.art and LUME studios. The program commenced with the first panel, featuring esteemed guests such as Anne Spalter, a mixed media digital artist; Claudia Hart, an artist and Associate Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; Coco Dolle, a curator, writer, artist, and founder of PWW3; OONA, a conceptual artist; and Sasha Stiles, a poet, artist, and AI researcher. The panel was moderated by Jiayin Chen, the VP of NFT at Artnet, who led engaging discussions on the evolving landscape of digital art. Afterwards, the second panel took center stage, featuring the talents of Anna Lucia, an artist and engineer; Kerin Sulock, the Director at Artwrld; Katarina Feder, the Founder and CEO of Arsnl; Raina Marie, the Director at Pace Gallery, writer, and curator; and Jill Magid, a Brooklyn-based artist, writer, and filmmaker. Elena Zavelev, the Co-founder and CEO at CADAF, skillfully moderated this panel, exploring the intersection of art, technology, and its implications for the future. HER Art: Web3 Collectors Salon #2 proved to be a captivating event, uniting a diverse range of voices and perspectives in the realm of digital creativity. Attendees were treated to insightful discussions, and an opportunity to connect with leading figures in the field. It was an evening that highlighted the powerful influence and limitless potential of women-identifying artists in the ever-evolving landscape of Web3.
